Hi all

Was out for lunch with a friend last week and we shared a tub of fresh edamame beans in wasabi. I had never tried these before but really enjoyed them especially dipped in some soy sauce.

My friend said she'd had them before with a bit of salt on too and they were just as nice.

As I travel a lot these would be great to have on stand by to fill a hunger gap.

Have tried to seek them out in supermarkets tesco, morrisons, m&s to no avail does anybody know where I can buy them?

These were fresh in their skins and we just popped the beans out and ate them raw.....

Any help greatly appreciated

I am in the US, but I can find them already shelled in my grocer's cold produce case, as well as, in the freezer section along with the veggies.

They are really nice but they are 10g per 100g carbs so you might want to be careful and also would suggest you to test before you eat and 1 2 and 3 hours after so you know what effect it has on your blood just to be sure.

Tesco stocked them in the freezer section , they are just as nice defrosted :)
Do be careful of the portion control though ! As @brettsza says, they are not the lowest as far as carbs go, and can be very moreish

If you're not bothered with the carb load, enjoy :D, it's a hell of a lot better than other snacks
