Hello can someone please help me what to do, i have lantus and lispro insulin pens but im totaly out of both and i have 0 money! Im in Riga, what can i do? im a swedish citizen... im freakin out

The DCUK forums cannot provide insulin or money but as a Swedish citizen you are entitled to an EHIC card (European Union health card), which is valid in Latvia.
Options
1) Call an ambulance or go to a hospital
2) go to the Swedish embassy.
3) contact friends or family for emergency funds
The DCUK forums cannot be used to obtain money or insulin, only information.

i went to the emergency and got a couple

What about asking at a pharmacy?
Do you have any type of Swedish health insurance, as you're saying you're a Swedish citizen? I think being a Swedish citizen should allow for at least part of the cost when abroad.

Fortunately, Europe is not the United States, where insulin costs $300, usually €30-70 depending on the brand you use. But although insulin is not a cheap medicine, the problem is not so much the price as the fact that insulin is a prescription drug and without a doctor's prescription, you may not be able to bye it even for money.
