Type 1 Epilady?

Hi. Does anyone out there use an Epilady? I'm interested in buying one, but have heard that it advises against people with diabetes using them.
Just wondered if it's one of those things they say just to cover themselves.

Risk seems to be around neuropathy.
If your diabetes is well controlled, you may be happy to take the risk.

@Miffyrascal I've used an epilator before with no problems. If you're in any doubt, you could check with your DSN.

I didn't, t know what it was at first, I just presumed it was a new med lol
Now am blushing with embarrassment
I would like to try one but am wary because I now have numbness going up my left leg because of the neuropathy

I've used one for years... won't use anything else now.

I use one and it's great. Sorry if this is TMI but I use mine everywhere, even in very sensitive areas - and I've never had a problem.

I use a Braun epilator. Cheaper than waxing. Takes a bit of patience to get angles right sometimes...
