I wonder what sort of impact if any the terrible weather will have on the referendum?

Shame about the weather. I guess if it's that bad, one could always use one's right as an EU citizen to move to another country where it's warmer and drier. It's 33°, sunny, and clear skies where I am at the moment haha

If it does then I have read somewhere that it will not be the older and retired generation who have already voted, but it will be those who are more interested in staying in the EU. after work.

I am surprised that we have not seen any exit polls yet.

There aren't any. That's why.

I think the key word there is 'Imagine' -- that is what the Brexit campaign is mostly about. Better to focus on the real situation, I think.
Surely the real situations are the Euro crisis, the migration crisis and the talks with Turkey starting again on the 30th June...

There is an interesting thread on Twitter that describes howbeurope doesn't want turkey in the the EU, Turkey doesn't really want to join, and everyone is happy with that arrangement. It's mostly a sham!

'Imagine the vote is whether we should join the EU' -- i.e. imagine we are not part of the EU and haven't been for the last 45 years. Let's pretend....

Remain. For my children's future.

We didn't win two world wars on our own...

No, the Commonwealth countries helped rather a lot, and the Americans joined in to help us too (late of course)

I voted leave, for my grandchildren's future, and their children, too.

Voted Remain
What ever the result the Tories are going rip into each other...
If we vote out I just hope Boris is locked out of office... he has taken quite a gamble with his career... and I suspect Scotland will go nuts....

If it means we get a better type of politics in the UK after this then I'll go for that. The last few weeks has been worse than a bunch of kids in the playground calling each other names in fact I would say it has been quite pathetic on both sides, may be it is not the EU we need to reform first, but our own political system here in the UK.

Oh we can but hope!

They've done that already @hankjam, which ever way the result goes they'll be changes made and the wounds will take a long time to heal.

Cant sleep tonight, the caffeine will be going on and it is not going to do my Diabetes any good what so ever, anyone got a suggestion what I could do? I am just glad I am not up like this every night.

I'm into a John Gresham at the moment, so turning off the light is a challenge...
thinking the result will be there in the morning... and not too keen on Dims on the TV and Jim N on the Radio4....
ah yes, had a wee gin to help the digestion.
Hope you have a good night.... least it won't be dark for too long.
:)
