Allo people, Alan here from N.Ireland, finally getting round to registering on this site. Where to begin, well, I'm 24, engaged, diagnosed end of March 09 with T1. Grandparents on mothers side both had T1 and it managed to 'skip' all their children (my mother included) and land on myself :roll:. The levels I was at when diagnosed where hilarious when you look back at it, the nurse tried to hide it but I seen 24.6 flash up(!) and the rest they say is history, 3 Novorapid/1 Levomir for me daily.

Mainly here to see if any seasoned pros can point me towards any good threads on here regarding exercise and diabetes? Just been to the clinic this week for my four monthly checkup and my weight is creeping up, best time to start dieting eh (xmas ftl )

Welcome to the forum. Have a good look around and if you have any questions just ask. There is usually someone with an answer.
