Hi everyone, had another big bleed a few days ago, got checked etc now bring referred for surgery, what's worrying me is I have a thick fog with a blibby mass of blood at the top. Every few minutes I get little black specks that drift down into wisps then disappear, do you think these are new little bleeds or could it be bits break8ng off from the big mass?irs the weekend so I've no one to ring. If anyone has experienced this I'd be grateful to know xx

Oh my. I'm sorry I don't have anything to add beyond a little background DR myself. Just sending hopeful hugs and wishing you get your eyes stabilized soon.

Update* well finally been told that after I dropped my hba1c from 85 to 55 thats what accounts for this period of very active retinopathy, th8s can go in for upto a year but (I'm told) it will stabilise and thete 8s no new regrowth due to long term benefits of better bg. So I've just got to ride it out. I've also got the chance of vitrectomy to get rid of all the gunk and seal off the leaky vessels that aren't going away. After a horrendous 8/9 months that Inc my partner if 34 years leaving me because HE didn't want the hassle, I date hardly believe it lol x
