Well been for my first eye scan, foot check, diet talk.

I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

My eyes are fine, well apart from being old so need glasses lol (51)

We discussed my diet! Well she did I just listened lol She told me that I had to have carbs etc and i shouldn't be on a low or mod carb diet. Even though I have lost 1.5 stone since Feb !!

Anyway thats that out the way for a year next stop blood test in about 3 weeks, that's if they remember lol

It's never as bad as some would have you believe, its best to get these checks done so any changes can be picked-up in the early stages, well done Tigger :)
 
Well done on your weight loss - that is fab. I'm not sure they know what they are talking about!!!!

I always have the blood tests done in advance so that I can see the nurse for her bits and then discuss those issues and the bloods with the GP at the same clinic. Makes sense to me.

Cholesterol and blood pressure on target with medication.
Also living with Parkinson's Disease.
Happily helping to moderate this great forum.
 
Doug makes a good point, try to get all blood work done prior to check up. Good time to discuss results.
