Hi. IS there any face- to- face Insulin trainings available? Type2 Diabetes trainings? Sevenoaks/ Kent
Thank You
Hi
@Tinaxy , welcome to the forum.
What type of training are you looking at, and what type of insulin do you need training on?
When I first started insulin (I was still misdiagnosed as a T2 at that point), my GP's practice nurse showed me how the pen worked and provided me with teststrips to see what happened, that was my training.
The type(s) of insulin you're using makes a lot of difference in what you'll need to know.
Is it a single type of insulin taken once or twice a day? That's pretty straightforward.
Is it a long acting basal insulin taken once or twice a day, plus a quick acting bolus insulin to be taken with meals and adjusted to what is eaten, that's more complicated, but also gives more room for tighter control.
Would you like to share a bit more on the backgound of your question?
