Hi there a new member's here!
I've had 3 episodes of the 3 Ps(polydipsia, polyuria and polyphagia) accompanied by blurry vision and a fatigue that isn't going anywhere i thought it must be diabetes so i went to a doctor and did the common blood tests but the results weren't even prediabetic: Fbs 88 and Hba1c 5.1 and 2hpp 124 so what's wrong with me? is it a false negative or am i "imagining" my symptoms??
P.s. haven't shown it to the doctor yet

Hi and welcome. I'm assuming your doctor didn't do the tests - so I think you'd be advised to discuss your results there first. The doctor may want to repeat them. Personally I'd be happy that I hadn't got something.

Not everything is due to diabetes and it's quite possible what you're experiencing is caused by something else entirely. You don't have to be imagining symptoms.

Hello and welcome @can_i_has_remission

I agree with @KennyA the symptoms you described are not necessarily caused by diabetes. I really strongly recommend that you go back to the doctor. I do not think it's a good idea to assume you have imagined the symptoms- much better to get checked out.

Hba1c test are typically vary accurate and whilst there is a small margin for error, even taking that into account you are still well into the normal range

there are numerous other things that can cause the issues you talk about, some as simple as low vitamin levels, the best way now is to discuss the result with your doctor, and see if they want to take some blood tests covering other common possibilities
