Falsely high hbA1c?

Hello dear ones, I have read that the HbA1c value can be falsely high with low MCH and MCHC values. Can you say something about that? My values are at the lowest normal range. MCH is 28 and MCHC is 32.

I don’t know for sure but if your results are in the normal range, albeit at the lower end your surgery might not want to test further but you could ask for a fructosamine test in place of the HbA1c.
