- Pasta, sorry to me it's vile, yeuch lol (and full of nasty carbs)
I started eating eggs again after years of ignoring them and boy they don't half make you windy lol. I am trying to reduce my carbohydrates so I would like help on what to avoid eating. I am asking this as I do not have a lot of my colon left due to surgery and do not like being banged up with wind or a social leper lol. Cheers folks.
phew that's a relief,Izzi, just want to avoid farty foods lol
I have found that since I gave up starchy carbs I am a hell of a lot less windy. So is Mr Scandi so I would recommend LCHF. I used to get horrendous reflux which is also non existent.I started eating eggs again after years of ignoring them and boy they don't half make you windy lol. I can't believe I'm going to share this, but if it gives someone a good laugh, it was worth it.
When I first started on low-carb and Metformin, my wind was absolutely vile. My husband and I were in a grocery store and I could feel the familiar tummy rumbling. There was another lady in the same aisle, about 20 ft away. Well....I let out what is known as a "silent but deadly" and quickly ran from the aisle, calling over my shoulder to my husband that I would "grab some milk". The lady continued her way down the aisle toward my husband (and where I had just been standing), practically turned green (according to my husband), and gave him a filthy look! He caught up with me and said he was going to kill me for making it look like he did it! I anticipated the whole thing and was doubled over in the dairy aisle, laughing my **** off!

As we're sharing windy stories, this is my fave of all time and told to me by my then neighbour......(if you've read this before, I'm sorry)I can't believe I'm going to share this, but if it gives someone a good laugh, it was worth it.
