Dear Admin
please suggest,
I am type 1 patient and on insulin,
I am facing one problem,
bed time glucose level is about 7-12,
in morning when I wake up my fasting glucose level comes about 8 but with the time in couple of hours it rises between 15-20(fasting),
please suggest what precaution I have to take,
regards

Hello @j_madan Welcome to the forum :)

Upon rising your body goes through what it called the 'Dawn Phenomenon' where the livers dumps glucose into your system, which would cause the blood glucose to rise - the best way to resolve this is to eat first thing as well as taking your insulin to cover your food, it's pretty straight forward to manage, but it's important that you do eat something even if it is a small amount of food.

Thanks for Reply.
Finally my issue has been resolved.
I have started lantus 5 units twice in a day
7 o’clock in morning and evening
And the results are amazing.
I was having this issue from beginning
But after this change I think my HB1AC will be in the range of 45-46.
Will go for a test in September.
Thanks and regards.
