Favourite butter

In the days when I ate bread etc. I favoured unsalted butter and bought from British farmers. Now I don't eat carbs, butter is only used for cooking or put on vegetables just before serving, and as long as it's from British farmers I don't have a preference.

I read that lurpack among others are now using milk from fart free cows. All well and good till you find out how they do that.

Making your own is imho most impressive!
Very easy to do - shove your cream into a mixer and beat the life out of it until it separates- I’ve done this on a few occasions inadvertently when whipping cream and forgetting about it lol, you need to wash the buttermilk off the butter - the buttermilk you’ve left behind in the mixing bowl is great for tenderising chicken breasts - buttermilk chicken

Oh don’t get me wrong. Method is one thing but really I’m impressed that you have enough time in your life to undertake such culinary activity . - somewhat jealous even ….
