Safe and Joyous time to all you guys FINALLY waking up .... we're about to retire ahead of the boxing day test

Yuletide felicitations to you Mike. Teenager had me up at 7.15 am and she loved all her presents, and she bought me lots of lovely, beautiful and thoughful gifts. I'm so lucky.<3

Enjoy your day :)

Have a GREAT day :) Mike

I like most Christmas songs, but only in December. I actually miss them when Christmas shopping these days as few places seem to play them as staff kept complaining, some how it doesn't feel like I'm Christmas shopping anymore.

I remember one from when I was a kid, sung by a folk group, called (I think) Child for the World. The first verse was fairly normal nativity, then it went on to describe a similar scene in various places, lastly in a foggy city ending "A boys born at number 4, I heard the milk man say, and angels sang a song for him, born on Christmas day". Basically it was saying that Jesus could have been born anywhere to anyone.

For a really odd Christmas song look up Alice Coopers 'No Man's Land'

My mum played Roger Wagner Chorale's LP Joy to the World every Christmas Day

The SWEETEST music I will always remember. Took me 30 years to find it on CD. To this day, it still makes me so happy and so sorry ... but in a GOOD way :)

Sweet day Ruth :)
