Lab results as per my sig below.
Seeing my FBG falling rapidly over the past few months, 4.1 this morning.

Took a homemade OGTT last week and was 3.5 at 2 hours.

Last lab HbA1c was 33 (5.2).

I'm down 5.5 stone since diagnosis last October and now walk the dog 3km every day.
Where do I go from here ? I suppose don't do it again is the first thing.
Keep away from those high carb treats I was previously addicted to.
Oh and blood pressure down from 165/110 to 110/65 and cholesterol down from 8.5 to 4.
Happy days and thank you to this forum.

Carry on doing what you are doing as it's obviously working extremely well.

That's exactly what the surgery nurse says when she rings with my results.
Last time she reckoned I was IGT and perhaps not diabetic even though I was 52 at diagnosis.
You do wonder how good their training is.

So I have a baseline meal which I use to chart my progress.
It's a large bowl of Shreddies which is handy to replicate.
Back in March (5 months post diagnosis) I'd peaked at 13.3 @ 1 hour & was 8.7 @ 2 hours.

This morning, 5 months later, I ran the test again.
I was 6.1 @ 1 hour & 4.8 @ 2 hours.
I've charted them against each other below.

I was late for my 30 min test & caught a 8.2 @ 40 min which I expect was my peak.
Seeing the 2 graphs overlayed like that is shocking, it doesn't seem like the same person.
I'm genuinely chuffed & just needed to share.
