It is just I can't live with diabetes.@Veryanxious I am sorry that all these things are a worry to you. You obviously have issues. As others have said get medical advice. It appears to me that you are talking yourself into being a Type 1. As an actual Type 1 who was hospitalised on diagnosis. I survived, am surviving and am generally just getting on with my life. If indeed you are Type 1 it is not the end of the world. It’s a pain in the posterior yes! But not the end of the world. Go see a doctor, put this to bed one way or the other and get on with living.
I agree with the other respondents ... type 1 is not something you “head towards”.I am not saying I am type1 but i am definently heading there very quickly.

This thread is all about me not able accept my probable type 1 status.
Do you think we wanted to live with diabetes? I'm sorry but I don't think T1 diabetes is something you can dodge. If I'm honest type 1 hits people very hard like a truck compared to type 2. Tbh, diagnosis now is arguably better than what it was before and there is a lot more help compared when I was diagnosed. I was in hospital for 3-4 months because of the stage of DKA I was in. However as everyone has said I doubt drinking kefir etc would lead you on to being a type 1 diabetic. I don't think it happens like that. Diabetes only bites back when you don't look after yourself or neglect yourself. Most of us still have our arms, legs and eyes still intact. Also I'd die to have results like yours, I'm pretty sure T1 runs a lot higher than that. The best you can do is find a second medical opinion, get all the tests available done and just breathe. It is just I can't live with diabetes.
I was ready to manage it with diet but I am seeing it slipping from my control.
I am ready to eat a single food every single day but the thought of surviving on insulin or on medicine is just.. I can't even explain in words. I don't think I will be able to survive type1 complications or even if I am ready to face the diagnosis. I am not saying I am type1 but i am definently heading there very quickly.

As per my doctor I can consider my diabetes cured if hba1c, fasting , pp are in range.
He says if I am too worried I can get Gad and anti ica antibodies checked. I don't even know what to do now.
My feeling and diagnosis both are everywhere and uncertain.
you are struggling with a fear of something which is not happening. It may never happen. Its a phobia and i strongly suggest asking your GP for help with this. So far, you have no reason to even think you have pre-diabetes, from the results you have told us. Please seek help for this fear.It is just I can't live with diabetes.

I don't wish for being diabetic. Neither type 1 nor type 2. I don't know how I come across as someone who wants being diagnosed to be type1. I was worried about my c peptide but after reading all the comments I have decide to let the life happen. You don’t get type one diabetes from drinking fermented milk. The fact you started drinking kefir at the time you noticed issues is purely coincidental - correlation does not imply causation. Your glucose levels are perfectly healthy. If you had type one, you’d get very sick, very fast. Be grateful you don’t have to inject insulin - and if you ever do, be more grateful that it’s available to us at all.
It’s sounding almost as if you *want* type one diabetes, whereas anyone who has to live with it would do almost anything *not* to have it.
Be careful what you wish for.
I do agree I have phobia of diseases and yes, I am not diagnosed clinically yet with pre diabetes. I do have bad insulin resistence which I will take care of by low carbing.you are struggling with a fear of something which is not happening. It may never happen. I do try to eat keto/paleo but sometimes it just become impossible to cook as I live in vegetarian household, I have to take care of lot of things. Please try to eat a more normal diet - having greens and egg ***** is not going to do you any good at all - it might very well make you feel unwell and only increase your fear about being ill.
Your last hba1c was 4.7 after having eaten carbs for the last month. (https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/got-hba1c-results.165126/ )I do have bad insulin resistence
I am also bit unable to understand this.Your last hba1c was 4.7 after having eaten carbs for the last month. (https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/got-hba1c-results.165126/ )
Nobody with 'bad insulin resistance' has a hba1c that low after a month of a carb including diet.
your results are so low because you do not have diabetes. Why do you think you do have diabetes when your results are normal?I am also bit unable to understand this.
I had all sorts of stuff I shouldn't, but not everyday. I would fast as well after having these food, so probably that could also have bought my A1c down.
My results are bit confusing to me as how is my A1c so low, with c peptide being low as well.
I do that for pre workout, I do eat a salad of nearly 3-4 tomatoes and cucumber. But may be I will try workout in fasted state.Rather than mango or roti why not have a large salad - a bag of mixed leaves with salad dressing, tomato, celery, radish, cucumber, sweet pepper, coleslaw if you eat it, or maybe some yoghurt - a couple of boiled eggs, a handful of walnuts - it is surprisingly sustaining, and the only cooking is boiling the eggs. It also has lots of micronutrients and all the different colours of veges.
C-peptide says something about the amount of insulin you've produced in the last half hour or so. So it goes up when glucose levels rise, as that's when your body produces insulin to get the bg down again. Your bg at the time was 91, a perfectly normal number, proving that you didn't need more insulin than you produced. You didn't need more insulin at that moment, so your body didn't make it. Exactly as it should be!My results are bit confusing to me as how is my A1c so low, with c peptide being low as well.
