Feel a little lost

It may say normal because it is the lab that makes those notes, and it isn't diabetic.
Pre-diabetes, for diagnostic purposes, is 5.5 to 6.9. 7 and over is diabetic. This is for diagnosis purposes.

Not a bad result for you, considering you had to get up, get ready, get to the surgery, and possibly endure some anxiety/stress in the process.
Well, funny you should say that as my employer has been giving me some liberal doses of stress. :D

So @Emma_369 .

You got diagnosed with T2D.

You went on a lchf diet.
And now no longer have diabetes.

A proven cure for type 2 diabetes..:singing:

Cause for universal celebrations.:joyful:
Think of all the money we can now save on meds, hospital stays etc.:D

But we both know the powers that be WON'T recognise it as a CURE.

So HOW on earth CAN they say your cured.?

Very pleased for you...
it's the end of the rainbow..almost .

We still I don't think, can (or want to) go back to the carb fest pre DX.

Think the posts previous, state clearly what your entitled to.

I'd say stand your ground, don't get fobbed off, and I'd include the mental anguish side as well, for good measure.

Go get what your entitled to.
You've worked hard and paid in enough
To miss out so they can save some money

Your too important to your family NOT to fight this.

As @PenguinMum sadly proves, damage can still occur, so preventative checks ARE the order of the day.

Good luck
