Feeling annoyed :(

If you put it that it is doubling the prescription clerks workload, then the gp is going to be more responsive than if you say its a nuisance to you...

Hi Chloe

ive been reading the msgs in this thread and as usual get myself hopping mad and somewhat worried for people using insulin and esp bolus basal. Ive never known an insulin regime to cause so much trouble for diabetics esp where getting the basal balanced up ok with the bolus is concerned. If your GP due to the CCG that thehy come under, is now unable to issue you a prescription for teststrips due to ££££££ , then ask to be referred to see a D consultant at hospital on the grouns that you would like to change to a different insulin regime that will give you stable bg levels with little need to test bg. The GP wont like doing the referal as the need to do so, could be avoided simply by issuing a prescription for teststrips which should be 200 at least. The D consultant wont be too happy either esp if the appointment to see the m is down to not getting sufficient teststrips due to cutbacks.

Thank you IHS for all your information provided .

Just thought I'd update you all .
I have had my appointment with the doctor , and she is in shock how much trouble I have had with the receptionist , and she isn't happy with them .
She couldn't believe that they wouldn't sort this out for me and she's going to be having a word with them .
She done it all there and then for me I now get everything that I need on a monthly basis , and my situation is now sorted .
I am so happy now .
And thank you to every who replied and helped me with my situation

Thank you .
