Morning all!
Well my sugar levels were 11.8 before bed and I woke to 10.2. I have had raspberries, fat free yoghurt, water and a latte for breakfast..total carbs 20g. So I have taken 2 units for that (am I right in taking insulin for fruit?!) And I haven't corrected. I haven't corrected in a long time but it used to be 1 unit brought levels down by 1..I wouldn't do it now as would be guessing.
I have omitted my morning run today as I want a genuine reading of my sugar levels without exercise effecting it.
So am I right in thinking if I have a veg omelette without carbs (I would normally have beans) this should give me an idea what my basal is doing, yes?
I must admit I like the idea of reducing my carbs as I eat so much...im just terrified of hypos with me looking after two little ones on my own all day.
Thanks alot.
