Feeling Shaky

Hi, I'm diagnosed less than 18 months, and I'm wondering if anyone else feels shaky at times when their blood glucose is ok. (I feel a different type of shaky if I'm low or high!)

I find that most mornings when I wake up, I feel shaky, even though my morning BG is normally between 6 and 8 mmol. At the moment, as I type this, I'm shaky, even though my BG is 7.2 mmol. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether I have eaten recently or not.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be so?

Yes I do. I do more so when bloods are moving even if in good ranges. Also in the morning with cortisol and adrenaline waking up. I can't have coffee first thing ever. I wait about and hour and a half. I typically only get it within the first few morning hours but it's pretty much every day.

Thanks Kristin251. That kind of makes sense to me. Will have to test more often and and see if blood sugars are moving a lot when I'm feeling shaky. I don't drink coffee so I don't have that problem. Glad to know that it's not just me and that I'm not going crazy!

@Carat13 Simetimes changing blood sugar can make you feel shaky even before it appears on the meter if your BS is dropping quickly.
