Finger Blood Glucose Monitors

Hi all,

I have recently been bombarded with adverts for laser blood glucose monitors that you clip on your finger without the need for pricking your finger etc. (That will teach me to click on an Diabetes related advert for one in FB)
I have serious doubts about these devices but was wondering if anyone oh here uses them and how they get on and if they do work recommend a decent one.

Hi there @Retanna . They are a scam. These devices are actually blood oxygen monitors being marketed as non invasive glucose monitors. If these so called glucose monitors were a reality the big companies such as Abbott would be developing and selling these monitors to great fanfare. If non invasive glucose monitors were a technical reality they would not be marketed and sold by some small obscure company selling them on Facebook.
