Hi guys well I have my third lot of blood tests tomorrow since being diagnosed. The receptionist tell me this will be my first yearly checkup ???
Okay well some of you may remember my last two blood tests have been pretty good my Hbca1 was down to34 so I was happy.
Here is the thing though the past few weeks I have awful and I don't know what to think anymore so if any of you have any of your usual much apprecated advice I would welcome it before I speak to the Dr again.
For the past 8 months I have been worried about my eyesight but after seeing drs galore they can't find what the cause is and say it is nothing to worry about ,I have blurry and double vision mainy in my left eye and also lots of flashing lights .
I am having horrible dizzy spells and have had my heart checked and nothing was found there.
Here is the one thing that is driving me nuts and I am not sure I can stand this much longer.
After a few weeks of waking up covered in sweat and then feeling hot on and off most of the day ( like I had the flu ) last week I decided to check my temerture and it was38.8 I went to the drs and she said she wasn't worried because it had started to come down .again she talked about the anxiety.
Anyway since then I have checked my temperature to try and see if there are any triggers and I am seeing 38.8 , at times and then an average of 37 .4 I soke to the nurse and she again assures me that the 37 .4 is fine and that the 38 if it is coming down isn't a worry .
They have told me to stop taking it ???

Some of you will remember I have a lifelong bone condition and feeling so rough is taking its toll plus I am losing waight , yes I am not eating the same as I was so I guess that's to be expected but I am really starting to let the anxiety side of things take over because I feel like I am chasing my own tail.
So I guess what I am asking is has anyone else had these fluctuations in their temerture .
My husband says that 37 .4 is fine and that when I took my temerture and it was 38 .4 I had been sitting next to the fire and the room was very warm he said that once I left the room within five minutes my temperature was coming down .
So sorry for the long winded thread all advice appreciated.
Was supposed to be going away tomorrow after my bloods with my boy to London but I just keep thinking about my temperature I keep taking it over and over.

The temperature thing is ok, don't be too stressed about that, but keep checking.
The eyesight thing seems to me to be a migraine reaction maybe. The flashing light, etc. is a forewarning of that. The blurry vision could well be your blood sugar levels fluctuating too high as it does affect your eyes. Once in control it will return to normal.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much I have lost lots of waight and my levels on bloods so far have been pleasing started at 74 three months later it was35 then my last one was 34 so I have my annual one tomorrow . I have to admit I have been really worried about my temperature . One Dr did say migraine but my GP says she doesn't think so because they are there everyday but she says she thinks it's anxiety x

Having had them the telltale signs are there even if you haven't the excruciating headaches. Get some pain killers maybe migraleve?? And when they start flashing take one (I think it's the pink one.) they helped with mine. Hopefully when your blood glucose levels are under control they may ease or do you know if you are eating something that will kick it off, cheese or chocolate maybe?
Have you a meter to check your bloods?

I have had to cut back on my meter because of the cost however I do still check my bloods now and again and I have been fine , I just feel **** with this horrible feeling of burning up its really odd.
I have had bloods taken and they say whilst my white Cell count is slightly raised and my c protein is up a little they are not concerned .
I don't eat chocolate but I do eat cheese .
I have cut out carbs completely I think I went a bit mad when I was diagnosed because I already have a bone condition I was born with and just couldn't stand the thought of another lifelong condition if that makes sense xx

Yeah it does! Keep posting. Let us know how you are doing.
