First check up

Having my first 3 month check up. Hoping for good things although very anxious. Cut carbs from whatever they were to an average of 105g a day. Lost 2 stone. 1 metformin a day, swimming twice a week, gym and table tennis instead of sitting on my backside. Fingers crossed.
I've put the eye test off as I don't fancy the idea.

assuming that is a drop in HbA1c :D
well done !!
keep up the good regime -- you're doing a great job !!

( I would get the eyes checked for peace of mind -- they are an important asset )

I also would do the eye check - I too was really nervous about that due to my really high BS levels when diagnosed ...

Gives you peace of mind once its done and you know where you stand ...

Congrats on your results so far ...

Got first check-up tomorrow. Hoping for a good result. I am going to ask for a bg monitor and hoping our surgery does this. Got eye exam at end of November, cant wait. I need to know that my eyes are ok or get early warning.
