Your fasting is not bad mate, and your 2 hourly ain't bad either, imagine having a couple of different veg with your protein and it would be even better. Have the chicken without the breading and you have a very low carb meal.
However just lowering your carb intake works mate. In the end it's your choice.
Potatoes would spike me so bad!
Them and bread are my nemesis!

According to the table on this site type 2 should be under 8.5 two hours after your meal And non diabetics under 7.8 and I was 7 I remember why I stopped testing now it was because it was always under non diabetic readings every time and it's pricey to do all the time

That's just a target at the highest level. The lower you get to normal, 4-6 mmols. The better you will feel and the better your readings on all your health readings. And the weight will come off!!

I started the lchf diet two weeks ago and my fasting bg range between 4-6 but the point is my weight has started to shift ... Lost 6lb yeah
You can do it.

Hi Lorraine what sort of things are you eating ? All ideas very welcome x

Like it says in the link you were given by Bluetit

Meat, fish, eggs, butter, cheese, plain Greek yoghurt and cream

Vegetarian protein such as tofu and TVP

Above-ground green vegetables, tomatoes, avocados, nuts as a good snack

Berry fruits in moderation (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)

Occasional small amounts of dark chocolate (85% cocoa or more)

Tea, coffee (try with cream instead of milk)

Plenty of water

Red wine, dry white wine, champagne, spirits in sensible amounts

This is what I eat, I don't have the alcohol though, but that's personal choice.

So how come it doesn't make cholesterol go sky high.

Also I will drink at Christmas party's so avoid beer and maybe vodka?

Yes beer is the one to avoid for sure as it's basically liquid bread. :(Vodka is OK once in a while for most folks.

LCHF doesn't normally make cholesterol go sky high because a lot of what we are told about cholesterol simply isn't true. It's based on old science. My cholesterol levels have come down. Most cholesterol is made in the body and doesn't come from food at all. There are some good videos about this, but I don't have time to look one up for you, sorry. Maybe @jack412 has one easily to hand.

No it's ok I'll research it more myself but thanks for all your help it's very much appreciated
