Hi all just been to see by Dn to get weighed and give her an update on first month on LCHF. At first she was a bit sceptical of LCHF but was willing to listen and let me give it ago again (did it a few years ago) Well to say she was very pleased and a bit gobsmacked is an understatement at how it has gone.

30/04/2018 weight 157kg 30/05/2018 weight 148.6 8.4kg off :smug::)
30.04.2018 Bg 16.6 30/05/2018 Bg 7.0 (average over 7 days) :smug::)

I'm well chuffed as well :)

Very well done on your achievements and for possibly converting your DN. My GP is happy for me to continue low carbing too :)

Edit to correct GP to DN

Very well done. :)

Hopefully your nurse will take your success with low carb on board to help other patients.
Hi @Rachox and @Bluetit1802 , my diabetic nurse was a little concerned at first with the amount of fat that I would be consuming with LCHF. I took her a graph of my fist months Bg and she seemed impressed. The 8.4kg weight loss was a bonus, not only for me, but to show how LCHF can work. I'm in for another weigh in at end off month so lets see how that goes, could do with 9kg off to get me into 130kg figures.
My neighbour is a dietician at the local hospital and she was a bit alarmed at me doing LCHF especially being diabetic! She is vey old school, (although only young) so when she is back of holiday in a few weeks I will show her the results as well. Thanks for your continued support. :)

Excellent news well done.. That blood sugar drop is amazing and in such a short time.
Wonder what your next HbA1c will be? significantly lower I'm sure.
Yet another Low Carb superstar!

Hi @bulkbiker don't know about a superstar mate but this LCHF eating regime is fantastic. Great choice of food, never feel hungry and getting results! What more could you ask for? :)
