First "Official" 5K complete

Today was the big day! When I'm on my own my fastest 5K time was 38:59, I have had the official timing yet but I think I've pulled out a 33:30 or there abouts today

We're in debates over the Loch Ness 10k at the end of September. Based on the struggle today though maybe that's a bit premature!

seriously you can do it, the distances get easier, the first 5k is huge, if you can do 5k that fast, you can slow down and do 10k i promise

Would have been faster if it wasn't for the hills! Managed to power on and get up them though

Next 5K is on 8th June

my marathon guru at my running club always said "hills are our friends" i never got it until i ran 26 on flat ground.... now hills are my friend for sure, but only uphill, my knees hate downhills
