First Post, but feel I need to tell you some stuff!

Would be interested to see what you eat! My hubbie is eating the same as me and he has had the same weight loss. Why don't we compare menus if you're interested?

Here is my recipe for roasted pork belly:

- 2.5lbs pork belly slices
- Layout pork belly on a rack in a 2.5 cm deep roasting pan or cookie sheet
- cut 3/4 deep slices every 3cm or so
- paint peanut oil or similar on pork belly with paint brush
- Sprinkle any type of dry rub on to the top of the pork bellies ( Sea salt and pepper good to or liquid smoke )
- Put into oven convection bake at 350° for 1:20 hours
- reduce to 300° for 40 minutes
- take out on to plate and let sit for 10 minutes before cutting

If you want a heart attack, pour the fat renderings into a bowl and sprinkle some cyan pepper rub and mix and put the pork belly in and mix and let sit for awhile

Wow got 15 mins in and what an eye opener - will have to watch the rest tonight

Michelle, I use the Australian Calorie King site - probably suit you since you're in Oz too:
http://www.calorieking.com.au/

Leeks aren't all that high - cooked only 7.6g per 100g weight - anything under 10g per 100g is usually pretty good.

Oh thanks for that indy I cant seem to get my head around the carb content Im relieved I don't have to stop the leeks to
ill try that web site will they have an app to ? are you in perth indy

This is not for me as I do not like meat apart from chicken and sausages but my husband is drooling at it. The sardines recipe is definitely my scene and I will be trying this one soon. My daughters would also tuck in so I might just have to make it for them! I have posted up my recipes under Scandis recipes, if you are interested. Please keep posting your yummy food!

Not Perth, in Mandurah. According to the site there's an iPhone app, but I've never used it. I'm a techno dinosaur and hate mobile phones o_O
