Had my first diabetes review today...
Hba1c was 94 on diagnosis mid August, now down to 46.
Cholesterol, blood pressure, feet, kidney function all good. Some query over a liver function test, so waiting for the doctor to call me on Friday to go through that (but nurse said that it didn't look to be anything serious). I don't even know what they tested for on that one...
Nurse fully on board with LCHF diet and actually told me not to even think about the Eatwell Plate as what I am doing is clearly working.
Over 17kg lost since I started weighing myself mid September.
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to this forum. The information, advice, knowledge and support are phenomenal and really helped to set me on the right path and discover what works for me very quickly. Still a way to go get where I want to be but very happy with the start I've made.
