I drink flavoured carbonated water (no sugar or artificial sweeteners) and sometimes club soda when I need a change from plain water and herbal teas. There's nothing wrong with flavoured water, especially if you make it yourself. Why would she think you couldn't drink it?

As in bottled sparkling water like peach and passion fruit from Tescos xx

Some (maybe all) flavoured waters contain carbohydrate (probably sugar, but it's so long since I had any . . .) All I know is the last time I drank flavoured water, my blood sugar was a lot higher than I expected. I checked the label and was shocked to find it contained sugar, so gave up drinking a very nice peach water. I now prefer ordinary water.

Avoid Volvic - that has sugar, lots of it - nearly all of the others have artificial sweeteners.

I drink Perfectly Clear still flavoured water - (strawberry is my favourite). No sugar there.

I always check the ingredients and nutrients to see if sugar has been added, if the carb value is negligible then it's safe, avoid Volvic water as that's loaded with sugar

@Fiona29 Let me know if you want your thread moving into the Food & Nutrition section, as your in Fundraising at the moment ?

The Tesco one is ok. No sugar or carbs. That’s just the lemon and lime haven’t tried the other flavours

The Perrier with lemon has no sugar or sweeteners - I love it
