My signature says it all, but this morning 30 mins after my usual 1mile run, I took my BP as usual and I nearly fell off my chair.....112/64...it's never to my knowledge been that low. :)

I can't of course pin to down to one strategy, but the combination of LCHF, exercise and intermittent fasting has to be the catalyst.

I do hope this is a source of encouragement to many of you, that there is hope when it comes to resolving all your metabolic markers.

Well done Kevin. That's a lovely tight BP.

My BP was elevated at diagnosis, and I found similarly to you; that as my numbers moderated and I trimmed up, my BP came down and settled in a good place. My personal interpretation (I like to paint simple pictures in my mind) is that my body simply isn't working so hard to maintain my well-being.

Keep up the good work. :)

It's good work, well done.
How was the pulse?

It's good to get the BP under control. :)

66 pulse...I think that's fairly average hankjam?

Diagnosed 13/4/16: T2, no meds, HbA1c 53, FBG 12.6, Trigs 3.6, HDL .75, LDL 4.0, BP 169/95, 13st 8lbs, waist 34" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

2/6/16: FBG AV 4.6, Trigs 1.5, HDL 2.0, LDL 3.0, BP 120/72, 11st 11lbs, waist 30" (2012 - 17st 7lbs, w 42").

Regime: 20g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting.

I've never had high blood pressure, but like you my diastolic seems to have dipped a bit from the 70's to the 60's recently. I wonder if it can be too low?

Well done Kevin, that's a fantastic reading! Big pat on the back for you

Well done Kevin. My BP has come down dramatically too (99/75 this afternoon). I agree with @AndBreathe that I think my body's not having to work so hard.

I wish I had your pulse rate though, mine is always high,:(
