Hi guys was wondering if anyone out there could recommend a good app to find out the GI values and Glycaemic Load of foods. I use an Android phone I have downloaded a couple but they seem to show different values and the UI was not up to much so uninstalled them. Failing that are any good websites giving GI lists of foods etc would be useful. Thanks .

Thanks for that just what I was looking for :)
If you want further details e.g. carbs and sugar content and much, much more (though not GI and GL) the Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset (CoFID) also covers thousand of foods, again in Excel format.
The Excel data can be imported into a database such as MS Access or other and this makes looking up specific foods very easy.
