- everything good for me! getting better though x
I am very fortunate in that I get to see an NHS podiatrist every three months, but I fear that is more to do with the rheumatoid arthritis than the diabetes. An annual foot check is part of the NICE pathway guidelines. My DN did mine, although I would prefer a proper podiatrist.
I have a check up every year, they have to see if you still have feelings in your feet as your suppose to keep your feet nice and soft. You will also have to have a retinal eye screening once a year also, nothing to worry aboutReceived a letter from my GP inviting me to a foot check. It's the first time I've ever received one and wondered whether anyone else has? I feel privileged
So I don't need to shave my toes anymoreI haven't had a letterbut I do feet checks at the hospital and I also check my own feet
I was told, (a few years ago) that having the odd hair growing on the top part of your toes is a sign that they are healthy
So I don't need to shave my toes anymorex
