Go on thenI can also say the alphabet backwards in 4 seconds and let's face it you can't get far in life without that sort of skill!!

What meals do you like cooking?
I can picture you now belting out some opera singing while frying the mushrooms!I still do some recordings from time to time but not opera, it was good for training but it's not my favourite type of music.
I cook all sorts really, Italian food is one of my favourites. Would love to be a chef but I hate being too hot!
i love italian but unfortunately have had to cut down a little on the pasta side. Still have it but not as much as I'd like.I still do some recordings from time to time but not opera, it was good for training but it's not my favourite type of music.

Yes, I would agree with you therePersonally, I think there's a distinction to be drawn between skill and talent. Skill is the ability to do something well, usually as a result of experience practice and training - that would probably describe me as a helmsman.
Talent is an instinctive flair for something. That talent may be further developed by experience, practice etc but it implies a base level of ability that is far in excess of the norm. To take my sailing analogy further, the teenaged son of friends of ours is a member of RYA Team GBR (I think that's what it's called). Basically, he is a member of the small squad from which future Olympic yachtsmen will be drawn. He has worked hard to achieve what he has done but his starting point was at a level far above anything I have ever managed whilst in control of a boat. That's talent!

Have you any recordings we should be listening out for?
It's not the first of April....@Sable_Jan you can get the letters upside down by simply turning your keyboard around so it's upside down and then just type the letters. Nothing more than that but it's impressive, yeah. You need to get used to where the keys are though.
Must have a lot of mushrooms thenThat is exactly how I spend my evenings
Kat will fall for it. I haven't heard from her for a while, so she's probably trying it out. It's not the first of April....
Is it on youtube? Are you feeling brave enough now?I know I do miss a good pasta dish!
I might upload something on here one day, if I ever feel brave enough!!
Wish I could draw, but then I suppose if I could I would only be saying I wish I had TIME to draw.... I can knit, sew, crochet but don't find the time to do much ...I can draw really well..sketching. I am terrible at painting though.
