- The rain and constant testing and insulin injections
My last two libre2 sensors have been up the wall. After first few days I was getting the automatic readings but also able to scan for a reading when I wanted. After a few days I was not able to get any scanned readings at all. This morning the sensor ended. I put new sensor on and tried to scan the new sensor but it wouldn’t scan so I was unable to start the new sensor. Contacted Abbott and they have sent replacement sensor. But I’m thinking it’s not going to work because I believe the problem is with the App. I don’t feel I can trust the Libre any more. I also have my Tresiba Insulin pen connected to the Libre but not been able to scan the pen for about 10 days. I don’t think putting on a new sensor is going to make any difference. It’s the App that needs to be fixed. I’ve lost confidence in the app. So I’m back to finger prick tests which I absolutely hate. So I won’t be doing that very often. Feeling really down about it. X
