I have been using freestyle libre sensors for a while now and the needle thing is usually soft and doesn’t hurt at all but today I got a new one and it was hard and it was soooo painful. More painful than my insulin needle. There has to have been a change???

I've moved to using Dexcom, but I can't remember the needle sticking out over the blue rim of the Libre applicator after applying the sensor. Looks like a faulty applicator to me?? Could be remembering it wrong though!!

Looks like a faulty applicator as that needle should have retracted when you applied the sensor.

This happens occasionally but not that often. I put in the back of my upper arm. Is that where you put yours?
