Any tips on how to avoid the sensor coming off? I'm using skin tac and patches and I'm still struggling with it sometimes especially on the back of my upper arm.

I'm no expert and lucky enough to just put the patch on without any preparation other than just having had a shower, thoroughly drying, using the wipes that come with the sensors and jobs a goodun. I find that even without something like tiger tape I can have my daily shower and there's no problem.

Do you have to use the skin tac? That's the only difference between what your doing and I'm doing. Skin type might come into it.

I use c-view 10*12cm dressings. They work well. A couple of times when I've removed the patch the sensor hasn't been stuck but has remained in place and continued working perfectly.

I don't have to..it's just that I think it's helpful. I'm very active so I'm sweating a lot wich doesn't help but thanks anyway.

I've ordered an armband which holds the sensor in place ands protects it from accidental knocks and such.
I have also got some Tegaderm Film Dressings to protect it in the bath and when showering.

Hi, not had issues with it coming off either, but we were advised to avoid using moisturiser etc on that arm for 48hrs before applying, they also said fake tan can make it less likely to stay on, and advised shaving if you have hairy arms (but no idea if any of these apply to you of course!!).

I've found the best application site to be the back of my arm, but slightly in towards my torso, so when my arms arm down by my side the inner edge is almost hidden as the sensor is towards my torso. I know lots of promo pics have people wearing the sensor on the outside of their arm but we were told the back. Also to rotate sites, not only arm but also site on the arm. So I'll sometimes have it closer to my elbow, sometimes closer to my shoulder. Always more than a hand's width away from my elbow or shoulder though. Lastly, after I apply it I do go around the adhesive patch from the sensor itself and gently rub it to make sure it has properly attached. I find it hard to get off after two weeks inc in this warm weather and with daily showers and exercise, but there if you search for libre on here there are threads of other tapes or straps etc people use for sports for example.

While using a miaomiao in conjunction with the sensor I did have an armband which was useful. Looks like JohnEGreen is ordering something similar just for the sensor. I've also used tiger tape which actually comes off before the sensor.

I stick mine on my belly doesn't seem to come off when I used it on my arm it did , I check it against a finger prick occasionally to check accuracy as it’s not a recommended place results are good It works for me might not work for everyone , but hey that’s diabetes for ya

I just pulled my first one off, it was really stuck on doubt it would have fallen off easily. I shaved the spot, wiped alcohol in preparation.
