my freestyle libre sometimes says it can’t scan try again in ten minutes? why is that?
 
Hi @emily deacon Mine does that too - best to leave and check again later on, no idea why it does this, but if it continues to do it repeatedly and you are getting no where then report the sensor to the customer service team who should replace it :)

thank you! another quick question, i have just got the libre today so not 100% used to it yet. i know you have to still use blood glucose strips when blood sugars are dropping or rising, but if my sugars are pretty stable throughout the day should i still test my blood?
 
Hi @emily deacon Yes if your levels are stable then it's not really necessary to test your blood, I tend to test with my meter before meal times so I can do a correct bolus calculation, when going high/low and before driving, the rest of the time I rely on my libre - I also tend to rule out the first 12 hours as the libre can be a bit hit/miss during this time too as it's still calibrating :)
