You’ve never had a sensor failure?

One actual sensor failure about two years ago and two I’ve knocked off. Had a couple of L1s with erratic numbers in the early days, which Abbott requested back. I’ve been wearing nearly six years.

Why do you think the reader makes any difference to sensor failures?
I can't speak for becca but I used Libre 2 for over 2 years with 3 different phones and experienced 2 sensor failures.
I only changed so that I can use a (self-funded) CGM that talks to my pump.
Basically because the phone tries to do much more than just read the sensor. If you start a sensor with the reader and then use your phone to read you get a notification explaining reduced functionality. This is all guesswork mind you but I’m sick of having many sensor failures just using the phone even though Abbott are very good about sending replacements immediately

Sorry @Filumo I don't understand the part you mean about the reduced functionality.
I used my phone to read Libre, manage my pump, read emails, listen to podcasts, navigate, etc. There is no reduced functionality in my phone or with Libre.
