over selling.... oh so many things are enthusiastically oversold
Having been low carb for ten years my close friends know what I like. This week I was gifted a Thors hammer steak which made me use my oven for the first time in about two years. He threw in some spuds during the last hours cooking which of course I passed onIMG_1763203164.641148.jpg

Would you mind introducing me to these friends? ;)
That looks like the perfect gift.

By the power of grey skull.. that looks fantastic!

Wow @OrsonKartt , was it okay in the oven , as delicious as they look they can be quite tough . How long did you cook it for ? if you don’t mind me asking

Six hours at a hundred and fifty degrees centigrade

It was just done - not quite falling off the bone but very easy to carve.

I’ve never heard of nor seen one before this event

I rarely use the oven these days , what with the air fryer and slow cooker

I passed. It’s been ten years since I’ve had a spud.

Tony the potato lover who has a recipe book dedicated to only the great king potato himself wanders in and promptly passes out after reading such sacrilege .........ten years and no spuds!!!!!!!

Did i mention i adore spuds oh and any neerdowell who questions my credibility ....type 1 50 years hba1c 39 or 5.7 and i eat spuds every day bar Thursday!!!!!
I have based my entire philosophy towards diabetes around my ability to eat spuds!

Whilst what i say is true i hope no one takes me seriously.

I wish i could do smilies

Tony
