Fruits in a low carb diet

I don’t eat much fruit but what I do have is 3 banana’s and a yoghurt when I’m at work. I love strawberry’s in the summer, cherry’s’s also and rhubarb.

That would be a lot of carbs for an unmedicated T2 to handle. May even be too much for some T1s and medicated T2s!!

It’s a lot of carbs for a T2 regardless of medication. Testing to the meter would be needed but bananas are some of the worst fruit out there for T2s, even when my nurses have not been low carb knowledgeable they have said bananas are pretty much a no go unfortunately

Strawberries likely okay cherries I suspect not and rhubarb is a veg but I think it’s okay
