Fulfil bars

Has anyone had any experience with Fulfil bars?

Each bar has approx 8-12 carbs but also a fiber content of around 8g. I have been managing to get my readings down to 8.5 or under most times 2hrs after food but have found that after a prolonged period between meals my levels shoot up again. Thinking of a snack and these seemed like a good option, and look like a bit of a treat as well.

As they are made in the Rep of Ireland then the fibre count should not be subtracted form the total carbs. Personally I would avoid these as one would be about half my daily carb limit.. but as with everything else you can try and test.

I would recommend some nuts, sounds boring but if you say have 6 of each of he following nuts you should get the hit you require - brazil, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan, walnut and almond (possibly some cashews but these are the highest carb). The different flavours and textures make the eating pleasurable. (if you toast them, they will be on another level).

Walnuts are good (they also I believe help with insulin resistance).
Just don't eat too many of them.
