It highlights a very serious issue within the site - that of genuine, authentic, evidence based information - exactly what Jopar states but for every single scrap or niche of diabetes information.
I've been working for some time to fix this, it's the next stage for the site, and when it comes time I'll actively recruit people to work on it and make this site help all our visitors. However, it's a massive job. We will get there soon!
Have a good weekend and let's keep it friendly!

[My urine samples did not show a high enough sugar level!] I now know that it was a blood sample that ! needed!
I started just using diet only, then went onto Metformin, etc. Anyway, I have always been struggling to get my BS down. I have been on two different drug research projects. The first one was stopped, though the current one seems to be working reasonably well.
My problem is my immune system. Due to having to take strong painkillers for many years, a virus only has to pass the door before it whips in and it is in my system and my BS rise to 9+!
I have been taking Actimal recently and have been taking a herb that supports the immune system for the last few weeks, that I bought from Victoria Health. Though I have felt a bit rough my BS has not reached the 9+ for the last couple of weeks. Here's hoping!
Therefore, it is very supportive to read the information that is provided, especially about the low carb/low GI diet. It is a Catch 22 situation, that I need the energy to do it, but I don't have the energy as work takes it all! As a result, the weekends are taken getting my energies together! Hey ho, when I retire in a few weeks time, I will have no excuses!
Keep up the good work!
