I have stopped losing weight since my BG levels really began to drop - I think it might be that my insulin resistance is reducing, so that what I eat is stashed away neatly instead of sloshing around in my blood and possibly getting lost via the kidneys.
It might explain why I have always been able to eat quite a bit more carbs than usual and still lose weight.
Insulin is called the fat producing hormone, so I suspect I am having a normal reaction to improving my metabolism. Bit of a pain to have to drop the carbs, but I might well have to do it to lose weight.
I have also found that slight exertion then resting and starting over has made a difference to my stamina, which is much improved in the last few months.
