gardening and bs drop

If there is one thing on this earth I truly can not abide it is gardening. I abhor it with every fibre of my being !

I mean I would rather inject my glargine beneath my toenails !

Handyman is actually coming to do mine on Monday :)

we have had some nice weather so I have been doing a bit of gardening not heavy digging just planting and weeding ,my problem is my sugars always take a big drop 4 and under .im on insulin twice a day any advice please
Hello. I find that too. Gardening does seem to have quite a surprising effect - not just on the back! It also makes a difference if the weather is particularly warm.
I've been using the Accuchek Aviva Expert BG meter for a while and I've set it to reduce my insulin by 50% when I know I'm going to spend the afternoon gardening. If it's unplanned gardening I guess it's an excuse for a snack or three ......
