Gastric Bypass?

No, nowhere near horribly obese or morbidly..
But as said .. Just that I put things down to education..both hubbys really well educated etc.. One brought up in nothing to eat, one brought up on eating too much.. All carried on into adult life...

We learn eating, living, lifestyle etc values from childhood is my belief..
Hubby 2 always able to get sweets n crisps on way to school... Lunchtime, home... Hubby 1 had nothing... Absolutely nothing....not a crumb... Let alone a penny for a choc bar.

I just think it shame that hubby 2 looks after me with concerns about levels of my blood, my eyes wtc but ... Perhaps it also a male thing slightly as well.. He wont go to gp for a check up!!! By way his bgs alwas come in 4-5!!!- no justice in this world!!-lol!!

46 but overweight, but not to extreme!

I am not judging you in any way so I resent you for judging my choice of gastric bypass. I am happy for you to be in the "normal" range but clearly your husband is not so I am not sure why you are judging my choice to have a bypass when things within your own personal life clearly could be better. Clearly the choices for him could also be better. I would never judge on this fact so it annoys me that you would. I have my own personal issues which I don't wish to go into.

I hope you have had a rethink on the way you perceive people who have had a gastric bypass. You seem to have some very strange perceptions regarding people who have based on your own opinions which seem to have absolutely nothing to do with gastric bypasses!
