Hi guys, I asked about pedicures but I wondered if people have gel nails on their toes.
Thanks

Yes I do, I think you need to stop overthinking it, as long as you go to a reputable salon and have healthy feet then it shouldn’t be any different to someone without diabetes- speak to the salon with your concerns they will advise you

Do you have any diabetic complications like neuropathy or problems with circulation in your feet?

If not, why would having T1 make a difference? T1's don't produce insulin so we inject what we don't make.

If you do have diabetic complications in your feet/legs, this is a question to ask your diabetes nurse, they know your situation.

I know i do over think things a lot, it’s the way I am.. i don’t have any complications and my bloods are well controlled.. im going for it it’s nice to have re-assurance that’s all

last summer I had gel toenails on my feet and on my hands. No problems other than their cost :hilarious: . I have mild neuropathy
