Getting back to ketosis after treating a hypo

I'm kicking myself right now, as I just broke maybe my longest streak of 100% in range BG ever.
I over injected for a rise, then was dropping too fast and had no choice other than to have some carbs to treat it.
I'm T1 for decades, often low carb, but not very experienced with true keto. This last stretch has been only my second go at it. It was going so well, I was feeling great - clear headed with good energy levels and flatter curves than ever.
Other keto T1s, what's your experience of returning to ketosis after a hypo and subsequent sugar intake?
Can you just flip back into it, or is it more like restarting from scratch?

I’m currently doing proper Keto and I’m also getting 100% in the Green, unreal.

this is only a guess by I reckon getting back into ketosis shouldn’t take long after just one hit of carbs surely, I just bought some out of date ketosis strips from eBay (GlucoRx HCT) at like £11 for 10 instead of £30, only a month or so out of date so reckon they will be fine(doc will only give me ketostix) might be worth buying a pack to put your mind at rest if your not sure your in the right zone? Or ask your doc for them, you never know :)

well done for the great numbers, onward and upwards (edit, without the upwards)

If you are eating true keto, is triggering into ketosis really important?

My understanding is that after a while in ketosis some folks don't display much in the way of ketones anyway. I totally appreciate as T2 who has never been medicated, never mind long term insulin use, my rationale may be different to your own, but surely being guided by how you feel and function is at least as important as a number on a meter? For me, and again I acknowledge the seismic differences in our condition, the numbers on a meter are just one element of my data set.

Well done on flattening your lines. It must feel great if you have been more used to wavier times.

If you aren't familiar with him already, it could be good to have a look at Dr Ian Lake - a long time T1 and GP, who moved to keto after years of fighting highs and lows. He does some amazing endurance work.

A full week!
This is a first for me in 26 years of T1
I'm really starting to love the keto way.
