Hay to everyone who uses glucomen glucose monitors thay are offering free upgrades when quote upgrade refrence code "ISO13A' had mine delivered this morning.

Could you please tell us which Glucomen meter it was that you had upgraded? It may help others with an upgrade if they happen to have the same meter and have had no contact from their GP or diabetes team.

For your info, if you're not aware (and possibly nerdy enough to be interested:)) The reference code is very likely to be regarding the 2013 ISO compliance standards which you can read about here; if you're struggling to get off to sleep :):

No, it isn't the ISO standard it is the code you need to enter to get the free upgrade like @type1lozzie stated above
 
Please be aware that most manufacturers are happy to give away their meters, because they can more than recover that initial cost by selling testing strips. If your meter/strips are NHS-funded, your HCP may not be happy funding an increased cost in strips.
Something to consider, as well as the meter satisfying strict compliance standards.
I have a Glucomen Lx Plus, and there is always an offer to upgrade in every box of strips.
