Could you please tell us which Glucomen meter it was that you had upgraded? It may help others with an upgrade if they happen to have the same meter and have had no contact from their GP or diabetes team.
For your info, if you're not aware (and possibly nerdy enough to be interested) The reference code is very likely to be regarding the 2013 ISO compliance standards which you can read about here; if you're struggling to get off to sleep

But yes, it is @alhubb... I'll guess it's almost entirely to ensure that the ISO 2013 standards are met, and that older meters which do not meet the requirements are superceded by ones that do. The deadline for this was actually almost a year ago.No, it isn't the ISO standard it is the code you need to enter to get the free upgrade like @type1lozzie stated above
