I am type 2 on 1000mg Glucophage @ bed time. 10 units Novorapid @ breakfast, 30 @ lunch, 50 @ dinner and 50 Levemir @ bed time.
I limit myself to 1,300 calories a day and watch the carbs and have lost the weight I needed to lose.
I was wondering if I was to take a higher dose of Glucophage would I be able to reduce the insulin or is that not the way it works?
I'm going to see the Diabetic consultant on 4th October and will mention it to him anyway but thought I'd run it by you guys first.
