just received latest email from Diabetes.co and it discusses the glycaemic index and how it is beneficial for diabetes.

It amazes me why people would bother with this kind of system which simply perpetuates the eat carbs but still manage diabetes, when in the majority of cases (T2) carbs are what are responsible for your situation. In the simplest of terms, if you have a splinter causing infection, remove the splinter of suffer the consequences. Same principle seems to apply here,,,, if carbs spike your sugar then remove the carbs..........

You do not need to go zero carbs, but you can at least attempt to remove the carbs such as potato, rice, pastry, cakes breads pasta's etc that will spike you the most....... Think on it
